Integral in building the foundational processes and documentation for a new society, increasing the membership from 40 to 100+ in 15 months.  Offices and appointments held include VP Programs, VP Communication, Nominating Chair, Trainer, Webmaster, Social Media Administrator, Newsletter Editor & Layout and Trip Coordinator.  Created the quarterly newsletter, Relatively Speaking, in April 2011 and regularly contribute content. Founded the Family Tree Maker Computer Interest Group and currently serve as monthly instructor.

Memory Preservation Coalition, 2013-Present

Founding member and membership coordinator.  Instrumental in creating web pages and Facebook pages in response to the Colorado floods of September 2013.  Authored press releases and marshaled volunteers to help flood victims wash, dry and scan flood-damaged photos at 4 Rescue Centers in the Front Range.

Serve as judge for NHD Colorado 2014.  Assignment involved judging 8 websites submitted for the senior division group website competition under the theme Rights and Responsibilities.  Duties included interviewing students and providing detailed feedback.

 

Dupee Boston Terrier Rescue    2009-Present
Dupee Brochure ThumbnailDesign annual calendar, collage poster, greeting card, brochure, memorials, and list of available adoptees, distributed to 250 individuals and organizations.  The 2011 calendar was honored by being selected as the designated rescue fundraiser at the National Boston Terrier Breeder Specialty show in Houston, May 2012.  Have adopted 1 Boston Terrier from Dupee in San Antonio, Texas.
