Deena Coutant has worked her entire career in technology-related fields, always gravitating toward the use of technology to gain efficiencies. She graduated with highest honors from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor of Business Administration, double majoring in marketing and management. Her past corporate work experience includes human resource management, payroll and benefits information system implementation and management, technical vendor management, contracting, information lifecycle governance, and legal e-Discovery. She was also the proprietor of a digital scrapbooking company, with experience in graphic design and producing marketing collateral. She actively volunteers on numerous local, state and national genealogical organizations, with board positions focusing on education, communications, technology and administration.
